The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Practice Manager to oversee the execution of our first health center in the Rochester market. The RN Practice Manager is an essential team member within the TSH care team who serves as an anchor for health center operations, combining the clinical expertise of a Registered Nurse with the operational and business management responsibilities of the health center Practice Manager. The RN Practice Manager is accountable for ensuring exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and team engagement while fostering a culture of excellence and hospitality. 

This position is ideal for an experienced, mission-driven registered nurse who enjoys both hands-on patient care and leadership responsibilities, particularly while serving the senior community.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and patient care expertise, along with deep knowledge of healthcare operations and quality improvement. The ideal candidate brings high emotional intelligence, integrity, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is an effective communicator who engages staff, providers, patients, and community partners while managing change.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide direct patient care, triage, and education to ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices.

  • Oversee and mentor clinical staff in workflows, patient safety, and quality care delivery utilizing a nursing lens.

Operational and Business Management

  • Lead day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling and resource management, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve care processes, enhance revenue, improve patient outcomes, and improve team efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and national standards of care, including HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA.

Team Engagement and Management

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency assessments for a clinical team.

  • Supervise and mentor a growing clinical team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive experience as a registered nurse in a primary care, community health, or ambulatory setting.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Business,  Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Deep understanding of clinical judgment, patient care, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with healthcare operations, clinical practices, billing, reimbursement, and quality improvement.

  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and providing performance management to direct reports.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making. 

  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities.

What We Offer

  • Starting salary range of $90,000-98,000/year
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K)
